As Ireland’s premier sustainable and ethical baby expo, now in its sixth consecutive year, Earth Baby Fair remains committed to offering young families access to services and retailers that advocate for environmentally conscious and gentle parenting practices, spanning from pregnancy through childbirth and beyond. Organised by the Cloth Nappy Library of Ireland, this event serves as their flagship fundraising endeavour.

Attendees can look forward to engaging with over 25 exhibitors, featuring esteemed businesses such as Fauna Kids, Bare: Skin Wellness, Treasured Toys, refillz, Clever Little Handies and Sleepy Dust Slings. Additionally, various community groups including the Doula Association of Ireland CLG, La Leche League, Kildare Wildlife Rescue, and Baby Wearing Ireland will be present to enrich the event.

Earth Baby Fair offers families the opportunity to embrace sustainable living through interactive activities. A highlight includes the children’s costume swap, allowing participants to exchange unused costumes for ones that will delight their little ones. Moreover, the Circular Economy Area will feature a fully stocked bookshelf for book swapping, along with free fruit, face painting, LEGO activities, homemade playdough, and more.

Further enhancing the sustainable ethos, Earth Baby Fair will host a Seed Swap, ladies’ clothes swap, and cloth nappy swap as part of the Circular Economy area. Attendees can also participate in repair workshops at the Craft Corner, learning valuable skills such as mending worn clothing and addressing sewing machine inquiries.

Throughout the day, volunteers from the Cloth Nappy Library will be available for inquiries and fitting demonstrations, aiming to educate attendees about the benefits of reusable nappies.

To support the acquisition of a new Night Time Nappy Loan Kit, a Fundraising Raffle will be held, offering 16 prizes generously donated by supporters of Cloth Nappy Library Ireland. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased via iDonate.

Mark your calendars for the Earth Baby Fair, a day dedicated to sustainable and mindful parenting practices, at the Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth, Co. Kildare on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm. Adult tickets are priced at €6, while children can attend free of charge.
